Editing Photos using Photoshop

As I just recieved permission to use Heidi Russell's photography I have began working on a new background image, for the mean time I used a picture of a Neon DJ, which I obviously cannot use due to copyright infrigement. Therefore I have used this picture that Heidi took of JasmineCooke holding a guitar (original top left).

To fit in with the colour scheme and theme of my page I decided to edit the picture by inverting the colour and then doubling the picture next to it to create a mirrored image. I believe this fits my theme more and I am now happy with my background.

J-Weezy 18th Birthday Bash Editing.

Obviously, I did not have the time or money to set up a photoshoot with someone with a birthday cake or at a party, therefore, I decided to edit and transform a picture I found online.

I obtained this picture of Miley Cyrus at her 18th Birthday Party, I got it from The Hollywood Gossip - you can find it by clicking this link: www.hollywoodgossip.com/gallery/18th-birthday-party

I then took a picture of my friend Jordon on a night out, so I transfered both of these pictures into photoshop .and used the magic eraser tool to delete the background of the picture of Jordon, so I was just left with the person, and removed Miley from the picture found on The Hollywood Gossip, I then rescaled the picture of Jordon so it looked realistic on the other photograph and edited the colours and shading around Jordon so it matched the background of the original picture.

I then researched some fonts on http://www.dafont.com/ and again edited this in photoshop so it was coloured, I then added a last layer to my picture and places the text onto the image so I was left with the final result that you can see below:

Help! I'm a teenage binge drinker - IMAGE MANIPULATION
When making an image for my exclusive programme, originally I was going to use all of the girls in the photo I took below, but I decided just to use the girl on the far right because I liked the angle she was standing and the fact that she is drinking from the whole bottle. This influences my programme and it's meaning.
I decided to have the article in black so it stood out against my white content background, therefore I manipulated the dress on the girl so it was white and pink rather than black and pink, making the girl stand out also again against the article. I then wrote a small article about the show and inserted different layers for text and finally inserted the image of the girl onto the main image. Creating the image I have below, featured on my What's On Page.
